2016 Sea Stars Blanc de Noirs Sparkling

Limited production traditional Champagne method Blanc de Noirs, created from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Fort Ross Vineyard. Mouthwatering acidity is underscored by crisp citrus, ripe apple, and a subtle strawberry note with a hint of toasted brioche. Beautiful on its own, on a picnic or with summer appetizers. We do not bottle Sea Stars every vintage. 112 cases produced.

2018 Mother of Pearl Chardonnay

94 Points - Wine Enthusiast
Dark gold in color, with a buttery creaminess, this wine is richly delicious in pear, baked lemon and a mix of baking and Asian spice. Oyster-shell-like texture adds minerality and a taste of the vineyard, so close as it is to the ocean. - Virginie Boone, August 2021.

★★★★+ EXCELLENT - Restaurant Wine, Ronn Wiegand MS/MW
The 2018 Mother of Pearl is a full bodied, crisp, complex wine with rich fruitiness of pineapple, candied lemon, and honey with toast, vanilla, and oak characters. It has good balance and a lingering finish. Still quite young; warrants another year or so of bottle aging. White Burgundy-like in style. Excellent.

2017 The Terraces Pinot Noir

93 Points - Wine Advocate
Medium ruby, the 2017 Pinot Noir Estate The Terraces features aromas of crushed cranberries, red cherries and rhubarb accented by cola, dusty earth and black tea leaves. The medium-bodied palate  is spicy, nuanced and fresh with a grainy frame and long finish.

92+ Points - Jeb Dunnuck
Bright black cherry, candied violets, Asian spice, and some cedary herb notes emerge from the 2017 Pinot Noir The Terraces, which is medium-bodied and has a fresh, focused texture, good acidity, and a great finish. It's going to benefit from a year or two of bottle age.

92 Points - Wine Enthusiast
This is from an estate site close to the ocean and planted entirely to the Calera clone within one terraced block. High toned in currant, forest and tea, it is earthy throughout, with bright, underlying freshness and crisp layers of black cherry, raspberry and orange.

92 Points - James Suckling
Attractive violet flowers here with a fresh array of blueberries and cherries, leading to a palate that has a succulent, juicy and sleek feel with sturdy, supple tannins, carrying long and even. Drink or hold. September, 2019.

★★★★★ EXCEPTIONAL - Restaurant Wine, Ronn Wiegand MS/MW
The 2017 Terraces, from Terraced Block #11, is exceptional: full bodied and fairly rich in style, it is round and well balanced, tasting of black currant, cherry, raspberry, rose petal, black tea, and toasty oak. Warrants at least 2 more years of aging.

2014 Pinotage

90 Points - Jeb Dunnuck
Pinotage I've ever tasted from outside South Africa. Outstanding notes of scorched earth, black cherries, graphite, and some classic herbal characteristics all give way to a medium-bodied red that has a layered texture, terrific balance and a great finish. Hats off to winemaker Jeff Pisoni for making a truly outstanding Pinotage.
